Computer Science is a vibrant field with many career opportunities. At UND, special efforts are made to prepare students for their future careers. The cooperative education program allows students to obtain practical work experiences that will extend the learning experience beyond the classroom. A number of prestigious firms (some of which are listed below) regularly recruit current computer science students for co-op positions and hire graduating students for permanent positions.
